I am just your average Catholic gal, but becoming a mother and a cancer patient has changed me beyond belief. I owe it all to my wonderful family: husband, son, and daughter! Here you will read my ravings, rantings, and rationalizations. I am quite wordy and nerdy. Simon and Rachel tell me many things, but most of all they remind me... I need to remember my purpose for life - living, loving, and being as God has planned for me!

Breaking news...
I just got the call from MD Anderson. I am definitely going down Wednesday (ugh a 14+ hour drive). My first appointment is on Thursday with Dr. Litton. I also have some appointments scheduled for Friday. Right now, I don't know when we'll be back b/c it all depends on what Dr. Litton finds on the tests. The woman from MD Anderson told me to plan for 5-7 business days down there though.
whew girl! Good luck and I am keeping up with you via bloggage...keep us posted.

ReplyDeleteErika,
ReplyDeleteYour mom asked for prayer for you and gave me this blog address. I am praying for you and that precious little girl, as well as for the rest of your family. May God protect you every step of the way and give wisdom to your doctors.

Erika,
ReplyDeleteBlessings upon you and baby. I emailed your Mom and told her that you are one of the strongest young women I know. You continue to amaze me. Life has brought you trials, but you continue to overcome with such a spiritual, peaceful, and positive attitude. God bless your family! You are in our prayers daily. He will wrap His arms around you and baby and get you through this.

Hey girl! I got your text message about Simon getting a little sister! How exciting! The name Rachel is beautiful and very classic. I love the classic names. I also love Elizabeth-- it's actually one of the names I have picked for any future little girl we may have! I know your leaving tomorrow and I hope everything goes well for you and the baby. Your baby is strong and God will continue to protect her and you! Keep us posted by texting, email, or this blog. I want to know what's going on! We'll keep praying for you, the baby, Simon, and Andrew. Everything will work out and soon you'll be able to enjoy your little boy and girl! :) Love ya!
